Hello
Bloggerzzz, My name is Taylor and this is my blog!!!! I'm a volleyball player
at Reinhardt University. I am 19 years old and from Douglasville, Ga. I have
grown up in two homes my main one being with my mother in Douglasville, GA with
my stepfather, younger sister and also my grandmother. My second home was also
with my father in Johnson City, TN with my stepmom, and my younger sister.
When I
was younger I was constantly with my mom and her special e.d kids (who hold a
special place in my heart), my mom’s parents, my mother’s competitive and
sideline cheerleaders, Football and Basketball.
From being around those things when I was younger it brought a huge love
of sports in me and also a love for special e.d children and adults.
I’m extremely close with my mother’s parents
even though they lived in Alaska from the time I was a baby till I was about 7 years
old. When I was a baby my grandparents (Mama and Poppy) would always come and
get me and take me up to Alaska with her for two weeks at a time. As I got
older my mother and I would visit numerous times a year and send them homemade
videos mom would take of us at home.
When we go up to Alaska would ride four wheelers everywhere stay outside
all day, and fish till the sun went down. Another fond memory I have is Poppy
growing wild strawberries which were delicious.
When I
was 3 years old my mother met my step father and a random high school football
game and you could say it was love at first site. They dated for about two
years (yes I was a little skeptical of him at first, but he got better as he
came around) they got married when I was 5 years old in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
After they got married, we moved to Douglasville, GA which is where I spent the
reast of my life till now.
In
Douglasville, GA I attended Sweetwater Elementary School from k-2, then I went
to Chapel Hill Elementary School from 3-5, Chapel Hill Middle School from 6-8,
and then finally Chapel Hill High School 9-12, In these schools where some of
the best memories of my life that I will never ever forget.
Now I am
going to school at Reinhardt University where I play volleyball and have met
all kinds of new friends who are all going to last me a lifetime.
Hi Taylor! I'm so happy to see you in this class. Your blog already reflects a little about who you are though its design. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you and about you. Best wishes as we get started on the journey!
